Is Dare to Connect "therapy?"Dare to Connect is a virtually-based support program for those struggling with sexual compulsion or problematic sexual behaviors that damage them and those they love. While Dare to Connect's hosts, Steve Moore and Mark Kastleman, are therapists, they are NOT providing clinical therapy as a part of the D2C Program, nor should statements, assertions, or advice be considered as such. Dare to Connect is designed to provide SUPPORT ONLY on topics associated with sexual compulsion and dysfunction, drawing on clinical background and personal recovery experience. It is strongly recommended that those utilizing Dare to Connect regard it as an important component to their recovery support system, and not as a replacement for therapy.

Is there a "trial" I can use with Dare to Connect? All new enrollees in Dare to Connect are considered to be under a "14-day money back guarantee", or a period of 14 days where new enrollees can try out the program to evaluate its worth to them, and ensure that D2C is technologically compatible with the electronic devices they will be using to access it. If enrollees elect to terminate their monthly subscription to Dare to Connect, their subscription will be considered cancelled from that point forward. Should one of our members cancel beyond their initial 14-day trial period, pro-rated refunds are not permitted, meaning that any subscription dues paid to that point are not subject to a refund.

How is Dare to Connect "interactive?"In the Dare to Connect Program, participants have a wide variety of options in interacting with Steve and Mark, as well as a means of interacting with other participants in a confidential manner. During live D2C Support Sessions (not pre-recorded), participants are given access to a chat function for posting questions or comments (Support Sessions are live each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:00am, UT, USA time). Depending on the line of questioning, Steve and Mark may elect to answer such questions immediately, unless relevancy or time are an issue. In these cases, these questions will take priority in later Support Sessions. Those who are not able to attend the live Support Session will have the ability to both look at the questions and answers provided, and have the opportunity to submit questions of their own, which will be immediately forwarded to Steve and Mark. Clients are always welcome to submit questions or topics they would like covered in the contact form at the top of this page.

Is Dare to Connect a "set program?"One of Dare to Connect's most unique features is the way in which the program is structured. We refer to D2C as a "living program", meaning that the topics covered and questions addressed are unique to those currently enrolled in the program at any given time. While the information will change little, with the exception of new clinical information and research as it develops, the topics as well as the way they are addressed will be tailored to best fit those currently enrolled. This is the primary reason why D2C Support Sessions are only available after the live event for 2 weeks following their recording.
-
What if I miss a D2C Support Session? Not able to attend in person? No problem! Support Sessions are recorded, and available via secured access by D2C subscribers for a period of 2 weeks following their recording! (please note that recordings may not be available for up to 2 hours immediately following their recording while they are being edited and uploaded)
